Scam checker & the GACS Scam Index
To check if a website is a scam, search the domain, wallet, phone number or handle below. You get every confirmed scam, malicious wallet, phishing site, investment scam, Ponzi scheme and fraud profile we know about — searchable, linkable, and forever free. Prefer a live scan? Use the website scam checker. Found one of your own? Click through to see the full intel page and warn others.
Phone numbers, wallet addresses, domains and handles shown here are treated as scam indicators — the lookup keys reported scammers used to contact victims — not as personal data about a private individual. Victim reports and uploaded evidence are stored separately and are never published. Privacy & data-use.

How to use the scam index
Most scam losses don't happen because someone ignored a warning — they happen because the victim had never seen the pattern before. The index is built for two moments: before you commit (a click, a transfer, a sign-up), search the wallet address, the domain, the broker name or the token symbol; if it's flagged, walk away. After something feels off, read two or three entries in the relevant category to spot the same playbook before more money moves.
Every entry is dated, sourced and linkable. Share an entry directly with the people closest to the risk — a parent considering an investment "platform," a friend mid-romance with someone they've never met, a Discord server about to ape into a memecoin. A link to a single concrete report changes minds in a way that abstract "be careful online" advice never does.
Found something missing or incorrect? Open the entry and submit feedback, or file a new report. Every confirmed report sharpens the detection rules that catch the next variant.
Report it to other scam directories too
One report to us flags the scam here — but scammers only stop when warnings follow them everywhere. Filing the same report with these public directories takes a few extra minutes and puts the warning in front of people who would never have found this page.
- ScamAdviserWebsite reputation checker — report a fraudulent site or webshop to warn its visitors.(opens in a new tab)
- BBB Scam TrackerBetter Business Bureau's North American scam map — reports help warn people near you.(opens in a new tab)
- TrustpilotReview platform — enter the business or domain to leave a public warning review.(opens in a new tab)
- TrustprofileEuropean webshop trustmark — report a fraudulent online shop for investigation.(opens in a new tab)
Each link opens the directory's own report form in a new tab. GACS has no affiliation with these services; their forms and moderation are their own.

Frequently asked questions
What is the GACS scam index?▾
A free, searchable public database of confirmed scams — wallets, phishing sites, fake brokers, rogue tokens, romance and recovery fraud — sourced from community reports, partner threat feeds and verified investigations. Every entry links to a dedicated intel page anyone can share.
How often is the index updated?▾
Continuously. New entries appear within minutes of moderator or automated confirmation; the trending and 'last seen' fields refresh in real time. The list you're looking at right now reflects the latest state of the database.
Is it free? Do I need an account?▾
Free, no signup, no paywall. The index, every individual scam page, the website checker, the wallet checker and the phone/email scanner are all open to anyone — that's the point.
How do I check if a specific wallet, website, phone or token is listed?▾
Use the search box above (matches across slugs, domains and wallet fragments) or jump to the dedicated checkers: website checker for URLs, wallet checker for crypto addresses, the safe scanner for phone numbers and handles. If it's flagged, you'll get the full evidence trail.
Where does the data come from?▾
Three sources: (1) victim and researcher reports submitted through the public report form, (2) automated detectors that monitor on-chain drainer wallets, look-alike domains and broker-license fraud, (3) partner threat feeds. Entries are confirmed by a moderator or the learned-rules engine before publication.
How are scams categorized?▾
By scam type (fake broker, wallet drainer, phishing site, romance, recovery, memecoin rug, etc.) and by country of impact. Use the category and country chips above to drill into a specific surface and read the playbook for that scam family.
What should I do if I've been scammed?▾
First: stop sending money or signing transactions. Second: file a report here so the entry enters the index and warns the next person. Third: report to your local cybercrime unit and (for crypto) the exchange that received funds. Our recovery guides on the scam-type hubs walk through realistic options — and warn about recovery-fraud, which preys on recent victims.
Can I report a scam that's not in the index?▾
Yes — that's the most valuable thing you can do. The report form takes under a minute, accepts evidence screenshots, and pushes the entry into moderation. Confirmed reports power both this index and the detection rules that catch the next variant.
Checking a specific thing? Use the right tool — check if a website is a scam (instant URL verdict), crypto scam checker (wallets, tokens, exchanges), wallet checker (any crypto address), or GACS vs ScamAdviser (honest comparison).
What the GACS registry shows right now
The registry currently lists 438,320 confirmed scam identifiers, 19,888 of them added in the last 30 days. Of the 127 victim reports filed directly with GACS, 69% describe pig-butchering (romance + crypto investment).

What these figures mean
Total entries counts every identifier the registry currently lists as a scam — a website, wallet address, phone number, social account, broker or token. One scam operation often appears several times, because the same group runs multiple domains, wallets and accounts at once. The number measures how many identifiers you can check, not how many separate criminal groups exist.
Added in the last 30 days shows how quickly new identifiers are reaching the registry. Scam websites are usually abandoned within days and replaced with new domains, so a steady flow of fresh entries matters more than the total. It also means a clean result on a brand-new site is not proof that it is safe.
Entries by type reflects where the data comes from. Websites dominate because domains are cheap to register and large public feeds track them; brokers, social accounts and wallets are fewer but are usually tied to larger individual losses. Each type links to its full list.
Victim reports by scam type counts only reports people filed directly with GACS, excluding any our moderators dismissed. It is a much smaller sample than the registry and shows what our own visitors are encountering, not the whole market. A high share for one type — currently pig-butchering — means that pattern is what people most often bring to us after losing money.
