How the GACS scam alerts feed works
Every entry in this feed starts as a report — from a victim, a researcher, or one of our automated detectors monitoring on-chain drainer wallets, look-alike domains and rogue broker licenses. A moderator or the learned-rules engine confirms the evidence, assigns a severity, and publishes. The result: a continuously updated, dated, searchable record of active threats — not a stale list scraped once a quarter.

How often is the scam alerts feed updated?▾
Continuously. Every verified report — from the GACS community, partner feeds and automated detectors — appears within minutes of confirmation. The trending section refreshes hourly based on report velocity over the last 7 days.
What counts as a 'verified' scam alert?▾
An entry is verified when at least one of: a moderator confirms reporter evidence, the entity matches a known fraud pattern in our learned-rules engine, or it appears across multiple independent reports with consistent indicators (same wallet drainer, same broker license fraud, same phishing kit).
How are severity levels assigned?▾
Critical = active financial loss with on-chain proof or regulator notice. High = strong evidence (multiple victim reports + technical indicators). Medium = single credible report awaiting corroboration. Low = soft signals (suspicious patterns, no confirmed loss yet).
Can I check if a specific website, wallet, phone or token is on the list?▾

What should I do if I find a scam that's not listed here?▾

Are scam alerts geo-targeted?▾
The feed is global by default. Many scams (fake brokers, wallet drainers, romance fraud) target victims worldwide, so we surface everything. Filter by category to narrow to the scam type most relevant to your region or platform.
Why do some entries have a /scam/<slug> page and others don't?▾
Entries with enough evidence and traffic get a dedicated public page with full context, recovery steps and shareable verdict. Newer or lower-signal entries appear in the feed only until they accumulate enough signal to justify their own page.
Can I get notified when new scams are reported?▾

The registry currently lists 438,316 confirmed scam identifiers, 19,897 of them added in the last 30 days. Of the 127 victim reports filed directly with GACS, 69% describe pig-butchering (romance + crypto investment).

What these figures mean
Total entries counts every identifier the registry currently lists as a scam — a website, wallet address, phone number, social account, broker or token. One scam operation often appears several times, because the same group runs multiple domains, wallets and accounts at once. The number measures how many identifiers you can check, not how many separate criminal groups exist.
Added in the last 30 days shows how quickly new identifiers are reaching the registry. Scam websites are usually abandoned within days and replaced with new domains, so a steady flow of fresh entries matters more than the total. It also means a clean result on a brand-new site is not proof that it is safe.
Entries by type reflects where the data comes from. Websites dominate because domains are cheap to register and large public feeds track them; brokers, social accounts and wallets are fewer but are usually tied to larger individual losses. Each type links to its full list.
Victim reports by scam type counts only reports people filed directly with GACS, excluding any our moderators dismissed. It is a much smaller sample than the registry and shows what our own visitors are encountering, not the whole market. A high share for one type — currently pig-butchering — means that pattern is what people most often bring to us after losing money.
