GACS Security Policy
One place to read how Global Anti-Crime & Safety handles fraud, email, your privacy and the rules for using the service.
Updated 26 October 2026
1. Anti-fraud stance
- GACS (Global Anti-Crime & Safety) is an independent, public-benefit fraud-education and scam-checking service. We check websites, links, phone numbers, emails, public wallet addresses and social accounts for reported fraud and warning signs.
- GACS is not a trading app, broker, exchange, investment platform or crypto wallet. We do not execute trades, hold funds or offer trading signals or profit promises.
- GACS does not recover stolen money and never charges victims recovery fees. Anyone promising recovery in our name should be treated as a scam.
- We never ask for bank passwords, seed phrases, private keys or payment-card details to run a check. Optional paid services use a payment provider's secure checkout.
- We do not accept payment to add, remove or hide anyone in the scam registry. Listed parties can file an appeal, which is reviewed on the evidence.
- Scan results are evidence signals, not proof of guilt or a guarantee that something is safe. We direct victims to official reporting agencies.
2. Email authentication (SPF, DKIM, DMARC)
- Genuine GACS email comes only from addresses ending in @gacs.app, including automatic account and alert emails sent from notify.gacs.app.
- The gacs.app domain publishes SPF and DKIM records so receiving mail services can verify that a message really came from an approved GACS sender.
- The domain also publishes a DMARC policy that tells receiving services how to treat messages that fail those checks. The last recorded DNS check, on 26 October 2026, showed a monitoring-only policy (p=none). We will update this page with the date once a stricter policy is confirmed live.
- DMARC protects against direct spoofing of @gacs.app addresses. It does not stop lookalike domains or fake display names, so always check the full sender address.
- GACS never sends bulk promotional email you did not sign up for, and never asks you to reply with passwords or payment details.
3. Privacy
- We collect only what is needed to run checks, accounts, alerts and reports. Scam-report evidence and reporter details are kept separate from the public registry.
- The public registry lists the identifiers used by reported scams (such as a website, phone number or wallet address) so people can look them up. It does not publish victims' personal details.
- We collect basic usage analytics (page views, device type, approximate region) to run the service and detect automated abuse. We do not sell personal data or run ad tracking.
- You can access, correct, export or delete your personal data by emailing privacy@gacs.app; we respond within 30 days.
4. Terms of use
- Scam checks, education and alerts are provided for information. They are not legal, financial or investment advice.
- Takedown notices and evidence packs are drafting aids. You should review them before submitting, and GACS does not control platform decisions.
- You must not use GACS to harass people, submit false reports or attempt to break, overload or scrape the service.
- Paid plans and their renewal terms are shown at checkout before you pay.
5. Reporting a security issue
- If you find a vulnerability on gacs.app, please report it privately through our responsible-disclosure page and give us reasonable time to fix it before sharing details.
- If a browser or antivirus warns about GACS, do not switch off your protection. Record the address, detection name and time, and contact us through a channel you can verify.
GACS is an independent service, not a government agency and not currently a registered nonprofit. Questions about this policy? Contact us.
