Is this AI agents course really free?

The diploma core (modules, study books, exam, and printable certificate) is free. There is an optional paid mentored cohort, but you can complete the certification entirely free.

Do I need to know Python or LLMs already?

Comfortable Python and a working understanding of LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, or open models) helps. If you're new to LLMs, take the free Python and LLM Engineering tracks first — both are linked from the diploma page.

Is the certificate recognized?

What's the difference between this and the LLM Engineering diploma?

LLM Engineering covers building and shipping LLM-powered systems generally (RAG, fine-tuning, evals, deployment). AI Agents Mastery goes deep on the agent-specific stack: planning loops, tool use, multi-agent orchestration, and agent evals. Many students take both.
