Can search engines see the GACS public pages?
Yes. All public pages — the scanner, the scam database, guides, share pages and FAQs — are indexable by Google, Bing and AI answer engines. Only personal account pages are marked noindex, and that is a privacy choice, not a hidden wall.
Every public scam page in the registry carries its own canonical URL and structured data, so search engines can surface it when someone searches for that exact scammer, site or wallet. That is the point of the registry: the next potential victim should find the warning before they send money.
Pages that show your personal data — the dashboard, watchlist, settings and saved items — are deliberately excluded from search indexes. No one should be able to find your scan history through Google.
GACS also submits new and updated pages through sitemaps and IndexNow so Bing, Yandex and other participating engines pick them up quickly; Google picks them up via Search Console.
In practice
- Public pages: indexable and structured for search and AI answers.
- Account pages: noindex by design — your activity stays private.
- Individual scam pages are indexed so victims find warnings first.
- New pages are pushed via sitemaps and IndexNow for fast discovery.

What happens to my data if I never sign in?
Anonymous scans are counted against a rotating browser fingerprint for rate-limiting only; no email, name or account is created.
Can I report a scam without an account?
Yes. The report form at /report-scam accepts anonymous submissions. Signing in only helps if you want the report tied to your account so you can track it.
Is the GACS account really free?
Yes. There is no paywall on core safety features. A free account unlocks higher daily scan limits, history, watchlist and alerts. Optional paid tiers exist for continuous monitoring and family protection, but personal safety basics stay free.
